WOW! WHEW!

I’m still coming down and coming up from the past five years that finally had a happy ending. I’m elated, sad and exhausted. I’ve been leaning into this Category 5 shit storm so long, I fell flat on my face when it finally blew out. I’m still collating my thoughts and feelings on this and will get back to you soon.
In the meantime, please take some time today to reflect on the loss of fallen warriors and raise one to them, especially my Marine buddy Eddie Weekfall.

AP- for once, it is great to see you at an immediate loss for words: the occasion is worth a celebration. I was saddened “early” with the news within partial returns, seeing 2016 in a PTSD haze…when it was finally called, I felt a great weight off of my life, even realizing that his saga is far from over but that DJT as President would come to an end eventually (and less than after another 4 years). Life was again beautiful even in the midst of COVID-19!
We can wait for future banter and for now, a salute to all vets with special remembrance for those to whom we were kin through blood or spirit…to you, Marine: semper fidelis
