you down with TCP?
I apologize for not posting yesterday as usual, but I had one of those golden opportunities
come up. I was offered two weeks of work as a Traffic Control Person (TCP), and even on our
island there is traffic that needs to be controlled at 7 a.m.
So off I trundled to the woodlot of a chap I’d flagged for when he was clearing a right-of-way
for the power poles in our neighbourhood. He’s falling trees right next to the road. I got to
watch and hear 150-foot tall Doug firs go down for eight hours straight.
And I’m about to go do it again. I was too fried to post when I got home last night. After
supper, Jude and I watched some Olympic women’s volleyball, both beach and non-beach.
I fought off sleep until 10 p.m., then yielded. I’ll catch you up on this exciting new career
when I catch up with it myself. TTYS.
