jaw fatigue

November 2, 2026

I thought that Trump was too smug and self-delusional to worry about swaying the vote tomorrow, but he surprised me yet again today. I awoke to find him at the reflecting pool, rehashing his horseshit about vandals, neglecting the fact that he did the damage when he had his motorcade drive over the coating before it dried. It was jaw dropping on so many levels, a new low even for Aging Orange. He sing-sung along like he wasn’t even listening to himself.

He went on to his usual whine list, but he seems to be phoning it in anymore. I think he’s tired and senses the shift in political power, possibly seismic, that hopefully starts tomorrow. I can’t find any pundit or pollster, regardless of affiliation, who doesn’t think the GOPers will lose the House. So expect some major shit to hit the biggest fan in January.

And please don’t forget to vote. It may be the most consequential election in your lifetime. I know it will be in mine.
