This is the first full day of spring. The snow on the farm has been replaced with
snow drop blooms and robins. Our community had a great party Saturday (report
tomorrow) to see winter off good and proper. Sunday Jude and I did some garden-
ing. Today I’m taking the dogs for a walk and then playing “Give Me That!” with
Slinkee until she tires of it, if that’s possible.
While I do that, won’t you please enjoy these photos of our area in all the glory
of winter?

The scenery is so beautiful.
I had to laugh when you said you play Givemethat…with your dog. We do the same thing. When I say givemethat she backs up with the ball or whatever she is playing with and looks at me … daring me to run after her. When I do she darts around me like her ass is on fire. I never get it back unless I ignore her and pretend we aren’t playing anymore and then snatch it … a yell VICTORY. We do this every damn day.
Slinkee is smart. I don’t know why she doesn’t grasp the basic concept of “Fetch”. I guess she thinks it’s more fun to have me run around as much as she does. I’m glad you play it every day with your dog, Joan. It’s a great way to stay fit.
