beyond the pale (orange)
I hadn’t planned on blogging for awhile as I recover from my lung surgery. It went well and I’m home safe with my favourite nurse and wife Jude. I’ll catch you up on that soon, but today I’m bursting with anger about Trump’s response to the murders of Rob and Michele Reiner. I’ve blogged that there is no bottom to which Aging Orange won’t sink, but this is an accurate depth reading.
If you keep up with the news to any degree, you have likely seen the contemptible post he just puked up. If not, here are a few lines: Reiner’s death was “reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME.”, adding that “He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness.”
So there is nothing too despicable to Donny Jay that can’t be twisted into self-aggrandizement.
Given a chance to back away from this shit tsunami, Trump did his patented double down and reminded us that Reiner was, indeed, deranged. In this busy holiday season, I hope you can take a minute to appreciate that current technology cannot accurately measure how incredibly petty and loathsome the leader of the free world can be.
I expect next year to be full of watershed moments in American politics. Moderate Republicans like Thomas Massey of Kentucky already see the graffiti on the wall. The incumbent party usually looses House seats in the mid-term elections. This could be a real blood bath for the GOP. If the Dems win big, they can neutralize much of 47’s earth scorching. But bear in mind that he has the advantage of no ethical moorings.
Disgusting little turd. Him and all his admirers.-Kate
Hey, Kate. Well said. I trust you’re dug in for winter. We’ve had no snow yet but lots of rain.
